TVAC Fire

Body
TVAC looked at areas that vastly needed improving on the fire engine. One area TVAC concentrated on was ways of increasing the equipment storage space inside the body without increasing its external dimension. This is achieved by integrating the water / foam tank into the bodywork successfully ensuring that all available space can be utilised for the stowage of equipment. Further more, fully 'through' lockers can be easily built in to the body layout. The useable locker space is estimated to be increased by at least 30% without the penalties of a larger body. The integrated water tank body design has meant that manual handling considerations can be fully addressed by utilising the increased low level stowage space with in the body for safety of the fire-fighters.The body of the new fire engine is also constructed independent of the chassis therefore reducing the time needed to produce an appliance. The body of the fire engine is made from fibreglass as opposed to aluminium composite. This has been design by Plastisol Holland. Plastisol have developed a process of producing the panels by vacuum forming a resin and the fibre into sheets of GRP which enables the user's requirements to be infinitely variable without any moulding costs.
Testing
The fire appliance has been fully tested and conforms to current JCDD requirements the provisional European standard for fire appliances PREN 1846 - 2. The crew cab safety belt anchorages to EEC 90/629. External noise levels with the pump on high pressure are very low 82.2 DBA at 1 meter distance from the pump.
Pump
Tvac fits the new Godiva World Series multi pressure pump 20/10 version. The pump is fitted with automatic pump pressure control and gravity/induction FFP foam induction system.
TVAC fits the HiLo Waterous pump both mid mounted and rear mounted to suit your requirements.
